Codes we follow
What each set of rules requires, and what we do about it.
The codes we follow, and how
Three sets of rules apply to our work. This is what each one requires and what we do about it.
| Requirement | Source | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Only licensed or exempt people give New Zealand immigration advice | Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007; IAA education agent factsheet | Our staff give offshore guidance on student visas only. Work, visitor, residence and all onshore matters go to a licensed adviser. |
| Evidence of licence shown to the client | Licensed Immigration Advisers Code of Conduct 2014, cl. 14 | Adviser names and register numbers are published here; evidence is given before advice starts. |
| Written agreement before work starts, with fees, refund policy and conflicts of interest | Code of Conduct 2014, cl. 5–6, 17–19; London Statement principle 3 | Every client signs a written service agreement that lists our fees, the refund policy and any commission from institutions. |
| Fair, reasonable fees, recorded in writing | Code of Conduct 2014, cl. 20 | Fees and any changes are agreed in writing. The assessment is free. |
| Internal complaints procedure | Code of Conduct 2014, cl. 15, 17 | Complaints go to info@srijabd.net and are answered within 10 working days. Clients may also complain to the Immigration Advisers Authority about a licensed adviser. |
| Current, accurate and honest information | London Statement principles 2 and 5 | Every New Zealand fact on this site links to INZ, NZQA or ENZ. We never promise visa, job or residence outcomes. |
| Responsible business ethics; no fraudulent applications | London Statement principle 1; Code of Conduct 2014, cl. 1 | No false or altered documents. Every file passes our READI-5 audit before lodgement. |
| Protecting the interests of minors | London Statement principle 4; Code of Pastoral Care 2021 | Parent or guardian consent before any commitment by a student under 18. |
| Correct use of the New Zealand brand | ENZ Minds Made for More Brand Platform Guidelines, October 2026 | Official ENZ artwork is used unaltered, in black, white and Surface Blue only, with ENZ consulted before publication. We do not imply government status. |
| Crown material reproduced accurately and in context | IAA Code of Conduct copyright notice | Government sources are linked and credited, never edited or used in a misleading context. |
