Srija BD Limited trading as NZ EduPortal (“we”) is responsible for the personal information you give us through nzeduportal.com, studynzbd.com, our community channels, WhatsApp, email and our Dhaka office.
What we collect
Contact details, study history, English test results, study preferences and anything you choose to share — including community stories. If you become a client, we also collect the documents needed for admission and your student visa application.
Our web forms do not ask for passport, bank or account numbers. Please do not enter them there.
Why we use it
- To assess your New Zealand study options and contact you about them.
- To apply for admission to the institutions you choose.
- To prepare your student visa application, with your written agreement.
- To contact you about a community story. Nothing is published without your written approval.
- To send event invitations and updates, only if you ask for them.
Who we share it with
Only the New Zealand institutions you apply to, Immigration New Zealand, and the licensed immigration adviser handling your matter — and only with your consent. We do not sell your information.
Where it is stored and how it is processed
Records are kept in Google Workspace. Our automation service runs on a private server in Malaysia (Hostinger). We use an AI service (Anthropic’s Claude) to help our staff sort enquiries and summarise information. It does not receive passport, bank or account numbers, and it does not make decisions about you — a person reviews every case.
How long we keep it
Enquiries with no further contact are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for the period stated in your service agreement. Copies of identity and financial documents are deleted after your visa decision and the agreed retention period.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, withdraw a story, or stop receiving updates at any time. Email info@srijabd.net and we will respond within 20 working days.
Complaints
Send complaints to info@srijabd.net; we answer within 10 working days. Complaints about a licensed immigration adviser can also be made to the Immigration Advisers Authority.
